GPSMAP 3005C

Garmin International is pleased to announce the GPSMAP 3005C – a new, sunlight readable, network compatible color chartplotter. Designed for a smaller boat or as a secondary unit on larger craft, the GPSMAP 3005C offers powerful GPS chartplotter, weather, sonar, and radar capabilities when connected to the Garmin Marine Network. The GPSMAP 3005C is completely waterproof and features a sunlight-readable, 256 color, 640 x 480 pixel VGA display in a 5” diagonal screen. Interfaced with the GPS 17 WAAS-enabled sensor, the GPSMAP 3005C will provide position accuracy to less than 3 meters when receiving WAAS corrections. The GPSMAP 3005C is a feature rich, stand-alone marine chartplotter, that can also communicate on the Garmin Marine Network. Notably, the Garmin marine network supports the sharing of weather, sonar, radar and cartography between MFDs. Chart data can be independently viewed. Another powerful feature of the Garmin network allows for the hosting of route information amongst the MFDs. This feature displays the entire active route at each MFD.
